What is the AMC 8?
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. Students apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges in a low-stress and friendly environment.

Eligibility
Students who are passionate about problem-solving in grade 8 or below and under 14.5 years of age on the day of the competition are eligible to participate in the AMC 8.
Test Policy
During the competition, students are only allowed: writing utensils - blank scratch paper - rulers - compasses - erasers.
Prohibited materials include: calculators - smartwatches - phones - computing devices - protractors - graph paper.
FREE Online AMC 8 Math Jam
We are preparing weekly math jam for students to be prepared for the test. Dates and access will be announced via email.
Competitive Math Classes
We also offer Competitive Math Classes for AMC 8, 10/12.
AMC 8 Enhanced: Fridays, 7-8pm PDT
AMC 10/12 Basic: Sundays, 6-7:30pm PDT
