As a community contributor, we offer scholarships and discounted tuition rates for our classes and college admissions advising services to qualified students and families. We also welcome partners to team up to GIVE more community support!
Founder​ - Phoebe Nie
As a certified educational counselor, Phoebe has helped many students gain admission to their dream colleges. She is dedicated to empowering students to develop their inner drive, unlock their full potential, and cultivate innovative capabilities that elevate them beyond college admissions.

Prior to founding Thetaworks Academy and becoming a full-time educational counselor, Phoebe was a market researcher, and later founded a branding consultancy helping small businesses craft authentic branding strategies. As she observed how genuine interests can lead individuals to success in many dimensions, her deep experience in branding and narrative building naturally evolved to a passion for human development.
Phoebe is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree in Communication Management, and holds certificates in college counseling and essay coaching.
She is an active member of IECA, NACAC, and WACAC. Beyond her professional practice, Phoebe remains deeply committed to serving as a long-time volunteer for local school districts and under-resourced families.
