To some kids, math seems easy but becomes an obstacle in high school, and to some other kids, math is miserable. Our award-winning math teacher Dr. Lan will be visiting Irvine to answer any math questions!

About the event

In this seminar, Dr. Lan will introduce the vital role of math and roadmap from elementary to high school, and how to motivate your child to be good at math!  1-on-1 session with him is upon request. You will also benefit from a college counselor's insider roadmap for your child to be college-ready by grade level, and reach their dream colleges. 

Kids-friendly and light food will be provided.

Dr. Lan

Math Teacher

B.S. in Math at Peking University, and Ph.D. in Math at UCLA. Serves as a Math teacher and Decathlon coach in Calabasas High School, College Board AP teacher and grader, and AMC and AIME coach. Kevin is a certified educator with a passion for coaching elementary students to be top in Math.

Phoebe Nie

Counselor, Educational Advisor

Graduated from USC and UC Berkeley. Founder of the non-profit educational organization Thetaworks Academy, providing enrichment classes and coaching high school and college admissions counseling and career planning. Students from Thetaworks Academy have been admitted to top-tier colleges such as Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.
